Workroom By Design — Homepage Redesign
This project was an in-house iteration of the Workroom By Design homepage, focused on improving clarity and usability for first-time visitors. While the site includes pages tailored to specific audiences, the homepage needed to act as a clear entry point for a wide range of users.
The existing homepage lacked a cohesive flow and did not scale consistently across screen sizes. Content felt fragmented, imagery varied in quality, and the landing experience did not clearly guide users toward key actions.
Working closely with the founder, the direction was to simplify the message and create a more consistent, user-friendly layout. The hero headline was intentionally direct, allowing the page to move quickly into action-driven content without taking up unnecessary space.
Drawing on my experience working within the brand, the homepage was restructured to guide users toward interacting with the shop while clearly explaining the custom ordering process behind Workroom By Design’s core products. Content unrelated to the intended user flow was removed to reduce friction and improve clarity.
A key addition was the How It Works section, which breaks the process into clear, visual steps. This helps users understand what to expect and feel more informed before moving forward.
As the layout came together, the homepage began to feel more cohesive and intentional — reinforcing the idea that a simplified structure and clear user flow create a more confident and approachable experience.
Outcome
A cleaner, more focused homepage that improves first impressions and guides users into the shopping experience with greater clarity.
